Material, installation data and safety information
Applies to every component cabset manufactures itself. They are made of the same material, by the same process, in the same place — which is why there is one shared data sheet instead of one per item.
Version 1.4 · As of 28 October 2026
Product overview
| Reference | Product | Opening | Weight |
|---|---|---|---|
| RP01080 | Access cover, twist-locked, two parts (mounting frame and cover) | Ø80 mm hole | approx. 31 g (both parts) |
| RP01125 | Access cover, twist-locked, two parts (mounting frame and cover) | Ø125 mm hole | Cover approx. 28 g (Standard), approx. 39 g (Heavy Duty) |
| OP01125 | Cable pass-through, permanently open. One-side version in two parts (mounting frame and pass-through cover), both-sides version in three parts (counterpart as well) | Ø125 mm hole, clear pass-through opening Ø107 mm | approx. 50 g one side, approx. 90 g both sides |
| XT01175 | Connecting piece for two RP01125, centre distance 175 mm | Slot 300 × 125 mm, radius 62,5 mm | approx. 15 g |
| XT01225 | Connecting piece for two RP01125, centre distance 225 mm | Slot 350 × 125 mm, radius 62,5 mm | approx. 38 g |
| SB125 | Marking template with centre cross, a marking aid | Marking circle Ø125 mm | — |
The Ø125 mm hole is served by two components with different jobs: the RP01125 closes the opening and lets it be reopened without tools; the OP01125 keeps the same hole permanently open and lines its cut edge. The mounting frame and the hole pattern are identical on both.
Bought-in accessories — hole saws and the fixing set — are not covered here. Their manufacturer and safety information is on the respective product page.

Installation data
| Material thickness, access covers | 3–19 mm, the same on RP01080 and RP01125 |
|---|---|
| Material thickness, cable pass-through | OP01125 trimmed on both sides: 16–40 mm. The counterpart is pushed on and latches without tools in 1,5 mm steps. Below 34 mm it is first cut to length at one of the two notches, to 22,8 or 13,8 mm — with a knife, a fine saw or side cutters; it cannot be snapped off by hand. Fitted on one side only, in a back panel, the pass-through cover in the mounting frame is enough and the counterpart is left out. |
| Installation depth | 22 mm behind the back panel on RP01080 and RP01125. On the OP01125 the tube projects 20,5 mm behind the visible face and can be sawn off on thin back panels. |
| Outer diameter | Ø108 mm (RP01080), Ø153 mm (RP01125 and both trims of the OP01125) |
| Height above the surface | 3,2 mm per trim on the OP01125 |
| Fixing | 4 countersunk screws Ø3 mm per mounting frame, length according to material thickness. The mounting frame of the OP01125 is identical to that of the RP01125 and takes the same screw size. Screws are not included — fixing set MS0312 available separately. |
| Connecting piece installation | On both mounting frames the segment facing the centre is cut away; frames and connecting piece are screwed in together. |
| Compatibility | XT01175 and XT01225 fit the RP01125 in Standard and Heavy Duty. The RP01080 cannot be coupled with connecting pieces, and neither can the OP01125. |
| Same hole pattern | The RP01125 and the OP01125 sit in the same Ø125 mm hole. An opening already cut can later be switched between a closed access cover and an open cable pass-through without drilling again. |

Safety information
- The components are not a certified fire-protection component. There is no classification under DIN 4102 or EN 13501. PLA is combustible.
- The components are not electrical equipment and do not replace a standard-compliant cover for an electrical installation. Work on electrical installations may only be carried out by qualified personnel and only with the power disconnected.
- The cover is not gas-tight or pressure-tight. In recirculation mode on downdraft extractors it closes the access opening against backflowing air, but does not replace a certified backdraft damper.
- The OP01125 cable pass-through keeps the opening permanently open. It closes nothing and offers no protection against backflowing air, dust, noise or fire spread. Where the opening is meant to be closed, the RP01125 is the right component.
- The OP01125 has no strain relief. Cables and hoses running through it must be secured separately, must not be under tension and must not chafe permanently against the pass-through edge.
- Cutting the counterpart to length involves a cutting tool. Cut away from your body, support or clamp the part securely, and deburr the cut afterwards.
- The components are not load-bearing and are not intended to carry loads.
- The marking template is a marking aid and not a guide template for saws or routers.
- Do not use in the immediate vicinity of heat sources — oven back panels, heating pipes, transformer housings and the like.
- Not a toy. Mounting screws are small parts and belong out of the reach of children.
- Not approved for contact with food or drinking water.
