Why not simply move the socket into the back panel of the neighbouring cabinet?
The socket itself would then move inside the cabinet and take up storage space. The RP01125 leaves the existing socket where it is in the wall — you only open the cover when you need to reach the plug.
What is included?
Mounting frame and cover. Fixing screws are not included. Four Ø3 mm countersunk screws are required per cover; the length depends on the thickness of the back panel.
Which panel thicknesses is the cover designed for?
Material thicknesses from 3 to 19 mm. The hole diameter is 125 mm, the outer diameter of the cover 153 mm, and the installation depth 22 mm.
How is the cover installed?
Cut a 125 mm hole at the required position, screw in the mounting frame, insert the cover and lock it with a short turn. To open it, turn it back — no tools required. The dimensioned drawing is available as a PDF on the product page.
Does the material withstand the temperatures inside a carcass?
The cover is made of PLA, which softens at around 60 °C. It is designed for the temperature range of ordinary furniture carcasses and is not a certified fire-protection or high-temperature component.
Which finishes are available?
Black, grey and white — the common carcass décor colours for kitchens. At present only the version for 125 mm holes is available.
Where is it manufactured?
In in-house production in Gütersloh, Germany. The design is registered as a Community design at the EUIPO under number 015150911-0001.
